I got another scholarship, apparently. I also got these little cardboard things attached to some jeans I bought, saying I get free music downloads if I register my pants online. I'm gonna check it out when I'm done posting. I went out and got a lot of the things I needed for school, too. I got wire cutters/strippers/crimpers, pliers, a little screwdriver set, and a multimeter (It's an electrical class). I already had the electrical tape I needed. I'd been using it to tape up my socks so my shin guards didn't slip around and my socks didn't fall down while I was still playing soccer. I could have come up with the wire tool, pliers, and screwdrivers between my dad and my grampa, but my mom insisted that I get some of my own. It's like she has something agaist mooching off of people or something. Weird. I will be using my dad's soldering iron if we can find it and it's in good working condition. Now all I need...I think, is a de-soldering tool. I've gone to a few stores, but nobody has one. Maybe Home Depot will have it. I would think they would, since they really exist for tools and lumber and that kind of thing. Maybe I'll apply for a job while I'm there. I have a meeting about the scholarship I got from church Tuesday (Today's Saturday) after my first class. They're gonna be all "Here, take this money" and I'll be like "Oh, thanks. I like money". Anybody else like money? Let me get a "HooHah Tuesday!" from all the people who like money. Did you actually say it? Sweet. The band's playing in Cape again tomorrow. We played last night in Cape at a cafe. I wish I knew how to put the little accent mark above the e in cafe. I knew for a very short period of time, but I forgot. Anyway, tomorrow we're playing at a church down there. I feel like a big-time famous band, going to Cape. That's all I can think of to tell you now, so I'm gonna go register my pants and get free music downloads. Hasta la vista.

I'm officially a college guy now. My first day I had two classes and on my first day I had homework in...two classes. Dangit, that's what I hated about school the most! That was always my downfall. Not doing my homework. That's life, though, I guess. At least I made a new friend. He works at the Federal Pennitentiary. We found out in one of our classes that there's a bunch more stuff we need to buy and he bought some of it at the campus bookstore and let me and a friend of mine know how much it cost. I hate spending money. Another strike against college, cause you have to spend a lot. I think I finally got my English class dropped, though, so that's good for me. I also found out that I got a scholarship through my church! That was some really good news! It'll pay about enough for all the supplies I've had to get, including books.

After my first day of college I went back to my aunt and uncles house. The work is almost done. There are just a few touches to finish up, unless they decide they want me to dig out some more so I can fit in some more blocks. I wouldn't put it past them, but I really hope they're fine with it the way it is.

Here's the cool part of my day. On my way from school to "the job site" I was almost there when I saw something crossing the road. I slowed down when I first saw it, so I was still a ways off. When I got closer I could see it was a little box turtle. It was moving pretty fast for a turtle. When I got almost to it I slammed my breaks. Since I was already slowed down quite a bit, that wasn't really a big deal. The road was wet, though, so I still skidded a little and even squealed. Not me, my car. When the tires squealed I guess it scared the turtle, because it stopped moving and pulled into its shell. So I backed up a little and drove around it, up the driveway, and into a parking spot. Then I ran back to the turtle, grabbed it between cars, and carried it back to the house. I carried it to the back yard and set it down at the edge of the woods back there. It stayed there and I walked away and started working. I went back to check on it and it was gone, so I guess it's alright. I may have saved the life of a turtle! Steve Irwin is my hero. That's enough for now, so Adios.

I thought the band was gonna have practice yesterday and a gig today, but I was mistaken. That's next weekend. It's gonna be a real pain getting all the equipment out of the basement we've been practicing in. Oh, right. If you don't know what band I'm talking about click on the LivingStone link over there on the side. My picture came from that site. It is me, though. I didn't just pic some random guy's picture and post it to make you believe it's me when it actually isn't. That would be lying. And lying is wrong. I could put a more recent picture up there, but that would mean I'd have to go find one and scan it and other stuff, so I will if you want me to, but otherwise I'm just gonna leave this one up for a while. What else do I have to say? ......OH! I found out what kind of bugs have been flying into the window. They're bees. Bumble bees, to be more exact. That explains why the sound was kinda loud. You know, they're big. I found out when one ran into the window, but instead of turning around and flying the other direction it kept trying to fly through the window. It hit it six or seven times before it quit and went away. Needless to say, I got a pretty good look at it. Well, I don't think there's anything else to report, so Arrivederci.

Good news! I haven't been having to help much in the bathroom. Cool. However, my neighbor has once again recruited me to do yard work. I'm basically cleaning out a flower bed. It's overgrown with grass and I'm fixing that. It's not that big a deal, really. It's actually fairly easy work. And what's more, she only wants me to work on it in the mornings and evenings, when it's not so hot out. It could be much worse.

In other news, I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince four or five days ago, which would be no more than a week after I got it, but maybe less. I just haven't posted because I didn't really have anything else to write about. If you've heard that it has a sad ending...you heard right. I won't go into detail unless you ask me to in a comment or otherwise contact me. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone. I can honestly say that I've never been quite this eager for the next installment. Too bad this one just came out not long ago. I have a long wait.

In other other news, I had a pretty terrible night last night. I went to bed a little early, since Futurama wasn't gonna come on. So I'm laying in bed for about an hour and I think I had been asleep for a little while, when I start feeling this pain between my shoulders. It's a muscle spasm that I get every now and then. It really hurts. Well, I tried to stretch it out a little for about ten minutes and it only got worse. Then I got up and took a couple of muscle relaxers. This was at about 11:40 pm. About an hour and a half later I still hadn't gotten to sleep because of the pain so I decided to try and relax it with a hot bath. This was at about 1:15 am. After twenty or thirty minutes in there it felt a little better, so I got out and went to watch tv for a while. At about 2:45 am I took another couple of muscle relaxers (you're supposed to take two of these every three hours while symptoms persist). Then I went and watched a little more tv. When I was finally really tired again I went to bed. Last thing I remember it was 4:00 am. When I woke up the pain was almost gone. It's still here a little, but much, much better than it was. I blame it on swimming yesterday. Thanks a lot, AfroRyan, for making me go swimming with you. I hope you see what you did. Auf Wiedersehen.
